White Gift
Project

For about 35 years Ashland Church has partnered with Leading Families Home to provide a family in need with Christmas presents.

Leading Families Home (formerly called FOCUS), is a nonprofit that helps people experiencing homelessness find housing, provide education, find jobs, stabilize their lives, and become independent.

​

Ashland's program has been called the "White Gift" project because when it started at the beginning of the 20th century, the only wrapping paper available was white tissue paper.

​

White Gift donations have been closed for the 2022 season.

This year we were able to give gifts to a single mother and her three children. Additionally, we were able to give her family and two other families a food basket for the Christmas season. Thank you to all who participated in this year's

White Gift Project.
